![]() Dallas and MasonWe adopted Dallas two weeks ago from a rescue in Texas. Dallas is a 2 year old tripod. He didn't get much in the form of training and sometimes his behaviors are VERY SCARY - I'm not sure if he's playing or aggressive sometimes. I want to set Dallas up for a successful and happy life, but I also want to be safe and not put my family or anyone else in danger. | ![]() Lindsay and PearlI was following a few other trainers then came across Jerri on Instagram. Jerri seemed like the perfect balance of no judgement and strong direction. I've been getting of plenty of judgement when out in public with my reactive Rottweiler and need help conquering that bad habit. I have full faith that Jerri and Mariah will help me mold my sweet girl Pearl into a well rounded, advocate of the breed! | ![]() Chelsie & MooseI found TPA (Jerri) browsing on IG. How Enzo responded & acted was admirable & I wanted to learn more as we had to rehome a dog in the past due to being inexperienced & having severe aggression issues. We made a promise that the next dog we got, would be set up to succeed from day one. We did research & picked a breed we thought would be good for our lifestyle & now are trying to set him up with good manners as well as educating ourselves so we can have a great understand & bond with Moose | ![]() Maria and JadaMy BF & I are avid campers & would love to be able to bring both dogs. Jeda is reactive and makes that very hard...coupled with the fact we live in an apt complex. We also want to get her enrolled in scent work class so she can do what she was made to do & build our bond. I found Jerri through a friend and it was a rabbit hole of info ever since! I want to see the world with Girls best friend by my side! |

![]() Kati, Asta, & AnubisAsta (Australian Cattle Dog) and Anubis (Doberman) I have been struggling with Asta's reactivity within the last 6 months; crate aggression, starting fights with Anubis, and resource guarding. Unable to afford a trainer, I began doing my own research with books, online, and Instagram videos. This quickly became overwhelming. I saw Jerri's videos on Instagram and immediately connected with her positive/open approach to training. TPA: We're so excited to see where you go from here!!!! | ![]() Emily and KitaI found TPA via FB. I came across a video & decided to dig deeper & see who Jerri was, & I’m glad I did! I’ve trained basic obedience, but reactivity is a whole new world to me! Kita was a rescue & in the last year has progressively gotten worse in his reactivity, specifically w/ other dogs. He’s shown improvement w/ people reactivity, but we still have a long way to go. My goals are to build a better bond, routine, & work through his reactivity to to give him (& myself) a better quality life. | ![]() Emily and LeoThis is Leo, a 1yr pittie mix. I adopted him when he was about 4 mo old, & it's been a rollercoaster ride since! Prior to adoption I began following several dog trainers on SM in prep for the day I brought home my own pup. Leo is incredibly smart & picks up on training very quickly, but there are some areas we're struggling. I am hoping that TPA will help me better understand Leo’s behavior & ID my own weaknesses/mistakes in the training process. | ![]() Sydney Sutton and HerraMy name is Sydney and my husband is Justin. We have 4 pittie mixes named Blue, Otis, Maddie, & Zoe We would like to put all 4 dogs through training; however we are planning to focus on Maddie and Blue for now as they need the most structure (aside from Otis). We found TPA through Koco Garcia and would like to focus on restructuring our household so the dogs are no longer fighting with one another and so they see us as the identifiable leader. |
![]() Melanie and HerraMelanie and Hera have just started a VIP session with Jerri. Hera struggles with dog reactivity, alert barking, and general lack of confidence. Melanie found Jerri through Instagram and is excited to begin this journey! | ![]() Blake and CharlieI found TPA through Tik Tok. Some struggles that I am having with his training are: -He is scared of other dogs and I need help on how to socialize him -how to get him not to jump up on people and on counters -he attacks phones when someone turns their volume up to listen to something -when people hug he jumps up and trys to get them to stop -when he wants someone to play with him he starts barking and nipping at them and it has caused many bruises -he pulls on walks and lacks heel | ![]() Drew, Emily and LunaWe discovered TPA through instagram and we are really looking forward to starting our training! Our biggest struggle with Luna is the leash, we have made progress but it has been slow and inconsistent. We are also working with the long term goal of being off leash when possible! | ![]() Alejandra, Zack, and LunaWe found TPA on Instagram and really liked Jerri’s training approach. We are currently struggling with Luna on her walks and in public spaces since she has started to bark and lunge at people and dogs. She has also gotten better when walking but she is not consistent so there are days she pulls and doesn’t listen. Additionally, she started developing a fear with riding the car and continues to get on the dining table to steal personal belongings or even our food when we forget to protect it. |
![]() Angie, Daniel, and Charliethis is Daniel, Angie and Charlie (pup). We found you through Instagram and I really enjoyed our 1:1 consult car. I think your method will work for our family. Charlie is our pandemic puppy and he is very reactive while on walks, with other dogs and squirrels/lizards/etc. We would love to be able to walk him without any issues, be able to recall him and overall have him be a well behaved calm dog. | ![]() Gracie and MiloI stumbled upon TPA after I recently finished a dog training certification program to become a dog trainer, but I definitely still needed help with my rescue, Milo. We have made a lot of progress, but have far to go still! I had no idea the trauma that a dog can have at such a young age (3mo) & it's definitely been hard to help him overcome these. He suffers from anxiety & is incredibly fearful of anything new. Once he's comfortable though he's incredibly energetic & willful | ![]() Avery and GidgetI found TPA after getting Gidget as a puppy and using social media to learn tips and tricks from all kinds of trainers. There are a few I still follow a year+ later and TPA has really left a mark on me. We have used local trainers but haven’t had great luck and we hope we can really find our stride with TPA! | ![]() Lillia and KyaI found TPA through Jerri's social media accounts. We have an almost 1yr old german shepherd/husky mix. While she is so much fun she has also proven to be a lot of work. I have been working hard w/her since last summer to be a great part of our life but after a family emergency in August I wasn't able to give her as much attention for a small time. She's become slightly reactive but I feel it is mostly because she needs more structure. I am hoping to get her to the amazing dog I know she can be! |
![]() Jasmine and JuniperJasmine adopted Juniper 7 years ago in Detroit, Michigan. They did plenty of training in the first few years including earning a Pet Partners Therapy Dog certification, but haven’t done anything new in quite a while. They’re here to learn about loose lead walking as Juniper still gets tripped up by critters like squirrels. After following Jerri and Enzo on Instagram for a while, they know they’re in the right place. | ![]() Kiersten and PhoenixKiersten and Phoenix trained with Jerri thru her VIP package. At first, Phoenix was struggling with reactivity and nail trims. An important goal for Kiersten was that she be able to handle Phoenix for basic care like nail trims. We started with a muzzle and slip lead. He flailed and freaked out. But each time, he got better. After a few weeks of daily practice, Phoenix no longer wears the muzzle and even offers his paw for nail trims. It's totally changed him for the better, Kiersten says! | ![]() Robert and EchoI’ve been following Jerri for over 1.5yrs now on IG, after some Cam Hanes repost, but I never actually had a dog. Now I've had a rescue for one month! She’s a 7 month Shep/Husky mix (I’m told). She was very timid when I got her. All that is out the window now which makes me happy! She already got a lot of confidence. Things I want to achieve/struggling w/: nails, crate training, able to get her attention when it matters/recall (squirrels are a tease), and to understand her behavior in general. | ![]() Taylor, Christian, and NalaWe found TPA through TikTok and were so excited when we did! Currently, we are struggling with resource guarding and basic everyday manners. However, we love Jerri’s philosophy and are super eager to get to work! TPA: We are all rooting for the three of you! What a perfect family photo! ❤️ |
![]() Tricia and RudyTricia and Rudy just finished up with Zoe and Connor last month! They did a great job overcoming some excitement problems they both have. A big goal for Tricia was to be able to walk all 3 of her large dogs at the same time and I am happy to report that she has achieved her goal!! | ![]() Madeleine and Davie | ![]() Marissabel and PennyI adopted Penny last October and there’s been good and bad moments. Penny has a reactivity toward dogs. Walking her can be a hard at times if there is a dog nearby. I want to do so much with her but first we need to start this training journey. I was lucky to have found Jerri’s tik tok account a couple months back and I loved the genuine and helpful content she posts. I am so excited to learn and help Penny reach many goals. UPDATE: Penny is now walking on a loose lead in busy areas!! | ![]() Rachel and SullivanRachel and Sullivan have just started a VIP session with Jerri. She says: "We are hoping to continue working with Sully to execute and follow his commands all the way through, stop resource guarding behavior, and promote pack unity nd proper heirarch between all three dogs." We wish you both luck and energy for all the hard work you're about to put in!!! |
![]() Taylor and RugerMy name is Taylor and my dog's name is Ruger. I am struggling to help Ruger through his reactivity issues towards strangers and other animals. Ruger is also very afraid of car rides. He is very fearful in general. I have been following Jerri on TT for quite some time now. Her videos have been greatly helpful and I love the way she explains things. I’m very excited to get started with Tulsa Pack Athletics! Update: Ruger is finally riding in the car comfortably and he is loose lead walking!! | ![]() Chance and RockOriginally I was drawn to Tulsa Pack Athletics thanks to Jerri’s sparkling & bubbly personality. As I observed more & more I felt like our philosophies regarding dogs were very similar. Why did I sign up for virtual training w/ Tulsa Pack Athletics? TPA cares. I’m Deaf. I had been searching for 3 months for a trainer that would work with me virtually. That’s not the easiest thing to do when I can’t hear other people talk. TPA made it happen immediately. | ![]() Mayda and BlueBlue is a one year old Newfie! We struggle w/ leash reactivity, recall, & general manners. I want to be able to take him places with me w/out worrying. I found TPA on tiktok. I saw how well trained Enzo was & showed it to my mom because my parents have a pitbull. Seeing how well trained Enzo was made me want that for my dog & I just didn’t know how to achieve it! UPDATE: May can study for school and play with her new kitten now while Blue remains calm and in place stay!! She's so happy!! | ![]() Lori and HoosierCongratulate Lori and Hoosier on completing a 2 week program with TPA!! They are learning how to overcome Hoosier's excited leash reactivity, gain more focus on mom, and create the foundations for continual success. We wish you both the best as you two start to move through training on your own. We are always here for you! |
![]() Kyanna and LadyKyanna and Lady will join us for the next month to work on manners, reactivity, and excitement. Welcome them the the TPA Family! Jerome will definitely help make some changes to benefit Lady. And Kyanna has already shown great initiative in learning how to overcome these behaviors. We believe in you! | ![]() Bowie and MadelynWelcome Madelyn and Bowie to our 4 week program! Bowie struggles with excessive barking and we know he will be able to overcome this during the program. Good Luck Bowie and Madelyn | ![]() Skylar and Nezuko"For 7 long years I worked in corporate America & one day just had enough of it and quit. I decided to follow my dreams of working w/ animals. So w/ no idea how, no job, in the middle of a pandemic I started working on building my dog training skills using my Westie, Nezuko. That's when I found Jerri & her amazing videos on TikTok then followed her on Instagram. I reached out on IG one day to ask if she did mentorships & here I am today! I am so excited for opportunity to learn from her & grow" | ![]() Jessica and Max"I was inspired by Jerri to start putting in more work w/ Max to help him reach his fullest potential. He was a very timid dog and I was looking for a way to build his confidence. Since then we’ve made great progress and Max is more confident by the day! I've started training a pup the complete opposite of Max and overly confident. I’m so excited to continue to learn about training & improve my skills. I’ve always been passionate about working w/ animals, especially dogs." |
![]() Bandit Verdugo with Mom and Dad"We are really excited and nervous (but mainly excited) to start this journey with your team. Recently I have had anxiety taking Bandit outside because of his recent increase in reactivity towards people and other dogs when we go outside at our apartment complex. I am really looking forward to getting the help we need for us to be successful and get us on the right track. Thank you so much for taking us in." - We're happy to have you Kirstyn and Bandit. We will overcome these issues | ![]() Corey and Colt - New August Apprentice"After I got Colt I couldn’t get a trainer due to funds & availability. I felt trapped. I found Jerri on my fyp & It’s like the universe knew I needed her. Since starting I know we will get through it! I've always known I want to work w/ dogs & I know the feeling of embarrassment & frustration that can come along with a dog in need of training, & I really just want to help other owners get through that and show them there is light at the end of the tunnel!" | ![]() Alison and Beau"Bo is a 9 wk old GSD/Rottweiler mix puppy that I have been fostering with my 3-yo daughter for the last 3 weeks. We will be adopting him this weekend. I want to establish a good training foundation with him to set us up for raising a well-balanced dog" - and we're here for you Alison! So excited! | ![]() Kiersten Higgens and PhoenixWelcome Kiersten and Phoenix for the next month! They will work one on one with Jerri in her VIP program. She is strugging with: "Counter surfing, mouthy at times with my other dog & me, difficulty cutting nails, and growls/snarls/lunges at my parents cats (they live next door)". - Lunging at cats is a big No no Phoenix. Excited to get to work Kiersten! |
![]() Hillary Gannon and EllieWelcome new comers for July!! Here's what Hillary has to say: This goober is Ellie. She is a 1 1/2 yo Goldendoodle. She is spunky and wicked smart, which definitely keeps me on my toes. She loves learning new tricks and skills. The problem is recall, leash walking, and me. I'm hoping through these classes I can learn how to best help Ellie thrive and be more a part of my life. Plus, I want to take this spitfire on adventures!! | ![]() Emily and KnoxEmily and Knox spent the month of July virtually training with us. Wish them the best of luck ❤️. What a ray of sunshine Knox is! | ![]() Kennedy and KobeThese two just began a 4-Week program with us starting Mid June. Kobe is nervous around some new people in the home and new things. He hackles up and does little barks. I had an incident when he was about 9 months and he bit a cleaning lady that left the door open. He is better now. I just don’t know how to make him not scared. We're ready to help Kennedy; let's get to work -TPA | ![]() Kaity & WinstonKaty and Winston are finishing up a 4 Week session with us this June!! Here's an oldie, but a goodie from them. Kaity and Winston out on a hike! |
![]() Jheri and Miles - June ApprenticeMiles and I have been through A LOT together. He attacked another dog and severely hurt them so I realized something needed to change...Big time. Somehow Jerri's videos started popping up on my TikTok FYP and I began to hone in on the skills I needed to teach Miles to thrive. I began to see results. It lit a new fire for me. I found a new passion in helping save dogs like Miles through training and helping families regain hope & empowerment in their ownership. I am so excited for this journey | ![]() Devyn & Hermes - June ApprenticeI have always been interested in learning about dogs behavior & why they do the things they do. I am a recovering addict & I wasted a lot of my life stuck in a cycle that made me miserable, even in recovery. Last year when the pandemic hit I also gave birth to my first child. That’s when I decided it was time to make a big change in my life. I tried grooming and being my own boss, but it wasn't something I was passionate about. So then I reached out to Jerri and here we are! | ![]() Mariah with Emma and Jax - June Apprentice and New MentorI have been a huge fan of Jerri's TikTok for the past year. I have always wanted to work with dogs but never knew exactly what I wanted to do until I came across these TikToks & started working w/ my own dogs! I personally like to learn virtually because life does not always go as planned. My husband is in the Air force so we don’t ever know if we will be relocating randomly so it’s a great opportunity to get the knowledge I need to progress. I enjoy walking my dogs now! |
